Activation server terms and conditions

General statements

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS PRIOR USING OF TREEK’S LICENSING LIBRARY ACTIVATION SERVER. WHEN YOU BUY  TLL ACTIVATION SERVER SERVICE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

This is addendum to the TLL terms & conditions document. This addendum applies only, if you’ve ordered and paid for our activation server solution in addition to standalone library.

The Software is owned by Jan Drozd software (“JDSW”) and is protected by EU copyright laws and other laws and by international treaties. It is intended for use by a software programmer who has experience using development tools and class libraries.

License grant

On purchase of TLL Activation server, you’re granted with a set of limited rights depending on type of license you purchased:

Rental license

You’re granted with non-exclusive right to use activation server on hosting we setup for you for period of time you pay for. Activation server can be used to protect an unlimited number applications you develop in-house – within the entity which is paying for the service. You must not use the TLL license and activation server for protecting third party products developed by different (legal or natural) entity. This license does not entitle you to receive activation server binaries or sources.

Binaries and in-house sources license

You’re granted with a non-exclusive right to use activation server binaries (and sources if you purchased them) for in-house development of any number of applications. You must not use the TLL license and activation server (both binaries and sources) for protecting third party products developed by different (legal or natural) entity.

Vendor license (with sources)

You’re granted with a non-exclusive right to use activation server binaries and sources to develop custom licensing protection solutions based on Treek’s Licensing Library. You’re allowed to distribute activation server in binary form only – you must not distribute source code (even derived from activation server) to any 3rd party entity.

Vendor license purchase authorizes you to use the TLL license in applications of 3rd parties using the TLL activation server solutions developed by you or your company.

Restrictions

You must not distribute [any part of] source code you receive from us to the 3rd parties. If you’ve purchased binaries only or in-house sources license, you must not use the activation server to host 3rd party products.

You must not disclose the binaries or source code to any publicly accessible service.

Miscellaneous

You must be owner of TLL Single Developer or TLL Small Team or TLL Enterprise (Unlimited) license to be eligible to purchase the activation server (binaries or sources license). Orders of activation server without a TLL license (purchased at the same time or prior to activation server order) will be rejected.

This agreement and/or any kind of purchase does not entitle you to receive TreeksLicensingLibrary.dll and TreeksLicensingLibrary2.dll sources.

All the purchases of activation server done before the 1st of July 2017 are considered as in-house sources license order.
